Mental Skills Training

Mental skills training is a cognitive approach to training your mind as a means of enhancing your performance. Athletes that build     mental skills training into their daily practice regime are more likely to consistently find a higher level of success.

Mental skills training includes but is not limited to visualization, guided imagery, relaxation training, motivation enhancement, focus   and concentration building, emotional regulation training, anxiety management education, goal-setting, positive self-dialogue, and   much more!

Brainspotting

Brainspotting is a powerful, focused treatment that harnesses the mind and body’s natural self-scanning, self-healing ability to   dismantle trauma, distress, negative experiences, and beliefs at the subconscious core to free the mind and body.

Brainspotting is a tool used to neurobiologically locate, focus, process, and release experiences and symptoms that are typically out of   reach of the conscious mind and its cognitive and language capacity. Brainspotting works with the deep brain and the body through   its direct access to the autonomic and limbic systems within the body’s central nervous system.

Brainspotting gives the therapist access to both brain and body processes. Its goal is to bypass the conscious, neocortical thinking to   access the deeper, subcortical emotional and body-based parts of the brain.

It is used to help enhance performance, break out of slumps, recover from injuries, and build confidence, along with so much more!

Biofeedback Training

Biofeedback uses special electronic devices to assess, monitor, and get psychophysiological information from your body and mind. Biofeedback is used to provide you with information about your body or mind’s reactions to various situations. Biofeedback may measure physiological indicators such as heart rate, muscular activity, brain wave activity, respiration, blood pressure, skin temperature, and sweat gland activity during various events.

Biofeedback training then uses the information or feedback received from your body and mind to help you improve self-regulation and control. Regular and consistent biofeedback training helps psychological skills become automatic reflexes, improving your mental and physical performance!
